About the role

What you would doHelp build and evolve scalable SaaS services and backend capabilities at Synergy Solutions, a Sofia-based software and technology company. You’ll turn product needs into reliable services and integrations that support web applications, SaaS platforms and business automation solutions. Design, implement and maintain backend functionality using Python and Django.Plan and build REST APIs with clear contracts and dependable behavior for consuming applications.Work with databases to shape data models, implement data access and support reliable service behavior.Integrate third-party tools and services, handling data exchange and errors thoughtfully.Test changes, investigate defects and improve service reliability as products evolve.Document technical decisions and collaborate with colleagues on implementation and improvements.About the teamYou’ll work with developers and technology colleagues at Synergy Solutions. The company develops web applications, SaaS platforms, AI-enabled tools and business automation solutions, including HireGate, a recruitment platform. You’ll coordinate with colleagues involved in product development to understand needs, deliver backend work and share practical technical insights. Must havesPractical experience building backend applications with Python and Django.Ability to design and implement REST APIs.Understanding of databases and how backend services interact with them, including SQL.A careful approach to problem-solving, testing and communicating about software development and maintenance.Bonus skillsExperience integrating third-party services or APIs.Familiarity with SaaS products and considerations for scaling backend services.Experience documenting technical work and collaborating on product development.What we offerThis is a full-time, mid-level backend engineering role based onsite in Sofia. The gross monthly salary range is EUR 1,500–2,500. Confirmed benefits include 25 days of paid leave per year, food vouchers and a MultiSport fitness card.
